Cinema, Culture and Connection
Stories From México is an international cinema and cultural festival based in Ireland, dedicated to showcasing stories connected to Mexican identity, culture, collaboration and artistic expression.
Our inaugural 2026 edition brought this vision to life as the cultural bridge between México and Ireland — through film, photography, music, visual arts and cultural exchange, generating greater global exposure for the participating artists.
We created a platform where both emerging and established filmmakers, artists and creators presented works representing narrative, heritage, perspective and contemporary collaboration across borders.
Greater visibility for Mexican culture and arts in the heart of Europe, aligned with Independence Day celebrations.
Actively involves Mexican groups already established in Ireland — gastronomy, cinema, dance, photography, painting and music.
Gives Mexican filmmakers living in Mexico and around the world expanded exposure to international audiences.
Opens a gateway for Irish artists to exhibit their work in Mexico — a bridge to the Latin American community.
